How Maui Found his Mother

A long time ago there was a maori person called Maui. He used to lived with his family many years ago. Many years later he lived with his hinchman. Then a few years later they rowed a boat the find Maui’s mother. They all went together to help Maui find his mother. It was a very long a long way away where Maui’s mother live. Then many years later Maui did find his mother. She missed him so much that Maui gave her a kiss. Then many years later Maui and his henchman traveled many seas than more years later a country called New Zealand was made. When it grew there were 3 islands made on 1 side of the world with another country called Australia. When the north island and the south island were made a long time ago there was another island of New Zealand made it was called Stuart island. Then 1 day later the other side the world was made and lots of other countries spoke different languages.

My speech Rubbadubbers

I think I should be able to watch Rubbadubbers in class everyday because. It’s not bad!! No!!-It’s not a baby show. Thats Right!! It’s AWESOME!!

It’s fun, It’s good, It’s got no swearing. Swearing is DISGRACEFUL!!

There are NO BAD WORDS IN IT!

It’s one of my favourite hot animation shows alongside Bob the Builder and Pingu! THAT RIGHT!! The clay Charcters from hot animation are made of clay. THATS COOL.

Terrence the Crocodile doesn’t like getting his tie wet, Thats why the rubbadubbers are spashing around like elephants.

If I could watch the Rubbadubbers after I have finished my school work everyday. I would feel  Cheerful and happy and proud because I LOVE THAT SHOW!!

Progress , new classrooms

Week 7 I have not been on my blog because we went to ski camp. This morning the building was looking very good. They have been busy building all day. They were busy building when we were at ski camp. It's been painted with a cream colour and blue { my favourite colour} around the boards at the top. There is a wooden ramp and wooden steps, all the windows are in.
Week 8 and 9
Last week the builders and painters kept building.
 Week 9 Yesterday I went with Marie to look inside the classrooms. Mrs Fearon and some kids were moving in!

Term 4 . The new classrooms have kids in them now and the teachers in them, They look lovely and new. They are all clean and cool. Mrs aitken has a small room over there that she teaches kids in.

My fun thing in the weekend

In the weekend I watched Pingu and Rubbadubbers on the tv. They were the shows that came in the mail for me on dvd. The first show on dvd came in the mail for me was Rubbadubbers. The Rubbadubbers are a bunch of bath toys who play in the bath and think about where they wants to be which is not bad. The frog’s name is tubb, The starfish’s name is Sploshy, The shark’s name is Finbar, The crocodile’s name is Terrance, The whale’s name is Winona, The robot’s name is Reg and the flying submarine’s name is Amelia.

In an episode of Rubbadubbers Terrance the crocodile doesn’t like to get his tye wet. Thats why he doesn’t like it. Then the next day Pingu came in the mail. They didn’t do anything naughty when they arrived. He is the best penguin we’ve ever seen. He never gets into trouble when he plays in the snow. He meets Robby when he goes out fishing. He goes swimming like the Rubbadubbers sometimes. At the end of an episode of Rubbadubbers Reg the robot says ‘’ Rubbadubbers Rubbadubbers, The children are comeing, bathtime scramble’’.  

New classroom progress

12th August.
So the builders have been working inside building the new classrooms. They are nearly finished. Room 5 and 6 are going to move into the new classrooms.

Room 5 to room 10.
Room 19 will go to room 11.
Room 6 to room 19

We will have another new entrant class in term 4. They will come out of Otaki Forks to Room 6.
Week 3 The builders are doing a lot of work inside the new classrooms. The builders are giving the building a new coat of paint. They are looking very splended. The kids will like those brand new classrooms.

Term 4
Week one: We came back to school and Mrs Fearon and Miss G are in the new classrooms. Miss G has two rabbits in a in her classroom. all the paint is new

We will not take me out for a game today. Because it is too noisy. There are too many noisy machines. We should wait till it’s quiet. The builders are still working. It’s going to be dusty, noisy ,dirty and dangerous. The noise from us would desterbe them. It would be not good for them. We should play quietly inside.

Term 3 new classrooms

The new classrooms look good. All the windows are all in. The walls are all covered in and they are painted.

Week 10

The walls are all boarded up is where the windows and door can't be seen now. The reason why they are boarded up cause the builder are building new classrooms here.

This morning I went outside on the court and joined in a game with the rest of the class. I didn't feel happy.

Jungle

In the jungle there are tropacall trees and fruit. The people from countrys come on an airoplane to to island and explore the jungle. Afracan animals sush as Raa Raa the noisy lion live in the jungle in afraca. Raa Raa the noisy lion lives in the Jinglely Jangley Jungle with his friends. His friends are Zabey the zebra, Ooo Ooo the monkey, Topsy the giraffe, Hufty the elephant and Crooky the crocodile. In a silly Go animate story Him and his friends got killed by Uni kitty. In another silly Go animate story Randy killed Daniel tiger after he went to mcdonalds. When Daniel tiger threw a tantrum at McDonalds. Randy came face to face with him is what Goanimate had done with. Cause its not a good choise to watch Goanimate just like Randy did in a naughty way. Raa Raa the noisy lion is the best lion we have ever seen and Daniel tiger is the best tiger we have ever seen. When animals come to the circus they do their circus acts.

Building blog

Week 9  The windows and doors are blocked like monsters make a blockage in the tunnel. Thats why they are covered up because of the builders are covering it all up. It looks different. The builders are building it. 30/6/16 Today is Thursday. Before morning tea a truck droped off some more timber. On the  side of the  contare it has Woods Waste on it known as Woods Rubbish or Trash.

Raa Raa Lions and penguins

Winter is coming and the house is falling down. The penguin is worried about it. His house is going to be demolished in a few years. It really has some icicles on it. They are hanging up very cold and freezing. They might drip water everywhere.

The penguin is thinking he might live in a new in house in a few years. He will live in an igloo just like Pingu. He will waddle round and round in Antarctica just like a real penguin does. Except Pingu is made out of clay just like Bob the builder, Jojo circus and Raa Raa the noisy lion. In hot places Raa Raa the noisy lion live in a jungle hut. In cold places Pingu live in an igloo. Modle characters like Thomas the tank engine don’t do their shows in the clay park. But clay characters like Bob the builder don’t do their shows in the model park. Penguin like Pingu live in the snow in places very cold. African animals like Raa raa the noisy lion live in the jungle in places very hot. In the zoo the Penguins come from the country called Antarctica, the kangaroos and koalas come from the country called Australia, the lions come from the country called Africa, The elephants come from the country called sri lanka, the gorlas come from the country called kenya, the birds come from the country called New Zealand and the buffalos come from the country called America.

Circus

When the circus comes to town the clowns ,bunkeys ,Mogs ,El tocle wots ,tigers ,horses, Giraffes ,bears, lions and elephants do their acts. The people see the caravans ,tents ,stands ,motor homes ,enclosure and vans they when go there by car or train. The Bunkeys put on a show and the el tocle wots do their acts. But the mogs do their tricks is what everyone sees. Then one day a man had a bad circus now circus performers were even busier. There was a lion in the tent but he didn’t look friendly like Raa raa the noisy lion. It was just like Randy came face to face with Daniel tiger. There was that time Randy went to McDonald's

Where Daniel tiger threw a tantrum just like Raa raa the noisy lion did in a silly Go animate story. That was why Randy had been naughty. He didn’t tell the truth. Then 6 months later Daniel tiger was revived by sally. That taught Randy a lessen for being very naughty. Then 1 month later Daniel tiger got killed by Randy again. But That was why the lion was trying to eat the man. He really had a bad act at the circus. That really frighted the man he jumped and ran out of the tent. The lion was roaring out running after the man and chased him and ran into a circus caravan and hid inside very safe. The lion failed his mission he roared ,growled and yelled rudely. And he hissed to himself. Its just like Randy hisses at Daniel tiger very rudely. Cause its not nice. He is very naughty all day and says ‘’Yay no more stupid tiger’’. Its a bit like Horrid Henry thinks his shows are better then baby shows. Because there's no such thing. When the circus goes away the animals have a rest.

Term 2


Week 1  The concrete slab has been poured for the floors.
Week 2  A big truck brought the timber frames in for the walls.
Week 3 Builders have stood all frames up and nailed them together with nail guns. They are looking like classrooms now.
Week 4 more frame work is being built.
Week 5 The builders are very busy.
Week 6 The roofers have put the roof on the classrooms. Lucky. It has been pouring with rain.
The west side walls and southern walls are covered in .
Week 7 Marie and I talked to Jayson the builder. The walls are covered in but there are holes where the windows and doors are going to be. Jayson told us the building should be finished by the end of July.

I want to know where mosaic tiles with the numbers on them are?

I asked Mr Campbell and he said Mr Larken had put them away in a safe place.
Mr Lark is always busy but I am going to ask him.
Week 8 They have scaffolding up all around the building. All the walls are covered in but there are no windows and doors. The builders are busy building inside useing the nail guns because it is raining outside.
Friday 24/6/16 It is not raining today. I went outside and the walls were all covered in. Now there are holes for the windows. There is a  lot of new timber around and scaffolding.

The building site has been compacted. So it solid and hard for the building to sit on. Builder used digger, levels and measured with string lines.

7/4/16
The builder are measing and cutting timber to make boxing for the concrete to be poured into.
The concrete they pour will be the classroom floor,

8/4/16

Today is the last day if the term. It is raining very hard. The builders are still building boxing and using the noisy nail guns.

Rooms 10 and 11 were demolished.

Wednesday 23rd I took photos of the demolition.The classrooms have been knocked down and they have gone. Big trucks took all the rubbish away to the tip.The digger dug the computer cable up so we had no computers working in the whole school.

Thursday 24/3 It is raining but I went out and took photos.Two builders were breaking concrete using jack hammers and the wheelbarrow
I would like to know where the mosaic tiles with the classroom numbers have gone?? Jan doesnt know, Fiona doesn't know either. I will ask Mr Larkin.

The roller  is making the site flat and smooth and the digger is moving stones to another place.

Friday 1/4/16

Huge trucks took more scrap metal and rubbish away a couple of days ago. There are no builders working today and the diggers are parked up.

The builders are looking at the site, they are not doing much work today.

The timber arrived on the truck and it nearly hit Miss Williams car!!! Marie and I talked to the builders and they told us the concrete is coming next week. It will be poured into the trenches.
